Career

Paul works in a variety of formats including Adult Contemporary, CHR, Hot AC, Dance, Christian, Sport and Newstalk.
He has experience in radio presentation, production and programme management. In the 1990s, Paul was Group Programme Director for three of the UK's biggest radio groups.
He was responsible for launching two UK regional youth-format stations - Galaxy and Vibe - as well as helping to launch Ireland's speech station NewsTalk in 2002. He also ran UK national station TalkSport as Programme Director.

Books

Paul is co-author of a highly-acclaimed and popular textbook on radio journalism, originally published 20 years ago, which has been translated into four languages and is in use in colleges throughout the world. He has also co-written two books on media law.

Radio Ideas Bank

He co-founded RADIO IDEAS BANK - an online service to make it easier for radio professionals to find ideas for contests and promotions which can be used to grow ratings and revenue.
